Who parent's the birthing parent after the baby is born? We exert so much time and attention on the baby and often times forget that along with the baby, a mother is also born.


A postpartum doula is a support person for the birthing parent. They help support the physical and emotional journey of becoming a new parent. They help you meet your self-care needs while ensuring the baby's needs are met too. Between the hormonal and physical recovery, things can get overwhelming. A postpartum doula can help. 

Services include (but are not limited to): 

  • Help with soothing, feeding, and wearing infant

  • Caring for infant while you eat/shower/rest/handle personal matters (at home)

  • Ensuring mother is nourished and hydrated 

  • Light tidying 

  • Laundry help 

  • Meal prep* 

  • Non-judgemental care and support

  • Provide evidence-based info 

  • Screening for perinatal mood disorders

  • Support the fourth trimester
